CES YES Training and Promotional Materials

New print materials include two brochures on developing effective youth environmental stewardship programs, a web site postcard, and a web site bookmark. These print materials will provide:

• A sampling of what educators will find on the CES YES web site.
• Guidelines for planning youth environmental stewardship programs.
• Strategies for engaging youth in community environmental activities.
• Project information for those who do not have ready access to on-line resources or prefer not to use them.

• Earth Connections: Engaging Youth in Community Environmental Activities [PDF/284Kb] - Spark the natural curiosity youth have about the environmental by following these guidelines for working with youth, for finding partners in the community, and for finding program materials and resources.
• Earth Connections: Planning Youth-Directed Natural Resources and Environmental Action Programs [PDF/316Kb] - Follow these basic steps when developing environmental stewardship programs for youth. Both novice and experienced leaders will want to use this guide for creating more meaningful youth stewardship experiences.
